Weapons

Weapons are obviously used to deal damage in battle. A character can only wield one weapon at a time.

All weapons have a primary Mainstat and an “Attack” score.

The factors in calculating damage are weapon Attack, Pith and weapon Mainstat bonus. Damage is calculated using the formula:

Regular Attack:
Damage = floor([{rnd() x 3 + 7}/10 x (Attack + Pith + weight)] + Mainstat/10)
- any class

Backstab:
Damage = floor([{rnd() x 3 + 7}/10 x (Attack + Guile + weight)] + Mainstat/10)
- only as Rogue

HyperStab???
Damage = 2 x floor([{rnd() x 3 + 7}/10 x (Attack + Guile + weight)] + Mainstat/10)
- only as Rogue wielding Guile weapon.

If you are good with certain stats, you will be able to hit the enemy more frequently. Hit chance is calculated using this formula:


Regular Attack:
Hit% = (Guile + Mainstat)

Backstab and Hyperstab:
Hit% = 2*(Guile + Mainstat)
